So this month has been pretty epic
No cleaning because I am on strike
I bought a new ipod since my "best friend" stole it
My nephew turned one!!!
I got over Taylor Lautner
Saw some old friends
Job hunting :)

Experiement

So I have a point to prove.
It's that people only want things that they cannot have.
Me and a friend will test this theory but in different ways.
I offered myself as one of the guinea pigs for this, as well did she
I have to change my relationship status and see how much it will effect people
and she...well she will ignore a guy that she likes to see if he will pay attention to her
this will go on for about a week or so and see the results

What ever happen to Ify

What happen to me?
I used to be funny,
full of life, and I said what ever was on my mind.
I used to make people laugh,
but now I sit in the far back...not making a sound.
People would know when I entered a room.
Now y'all don't even know my name or
that i was there in the first place.
The bubbly, vibrant loud girl is back in her
shell as the anti-social, scared of human contact woman.
What ever happen to Ify?

The Cota

Central Ohio Transit Authority

Riding the COTA bus is an "interesting" experience.
It's kind of an acquired taste if you ask me.
Well the route that I take seems frightening at first,
if you're not used to it that is.
Traveling through the Linden area to Cleveland Avenue you see some things,
like a woman ten shades darker than me have bleach blonde hair and a hair style
that looks like she shoved a bird and it's nest in it.
Or looking out the window and you see
a man dressed in all black giving another man a small bag with white contents in it.
They try to disguise it with a a simple hand shake, but we all know better than that.
Then you see the disappointed look on the every mothers eyes,
even the young mother sitting by the window is shaking her head as she
cradles her son and wishes the best for son.
Not all of the routes are like that,
some are pleasant, some are violent, some are just plain ol' weird

Change

So when a person says that you look the same from when you were in middle school
that's when you know when you have to step it up a bit.
I'm going to go though a couple of step to change this drab little girl
to a women of flair!!!!

Down With the Sickness

My mom says that I might have H1N1

This is the time of year when the leaves change colors and
I start to straighten my hair and paint my toe nails wacky colors.
This is the time of year when my room gets cold and it's harder to get out of bed
because I'm far too content with the warm cocoon i have made myself out of my comforter.
Times like these I get homesick and wish I were to still back in New Orleans, soaking up the warm weather, riding my bike in the breeze and finding a cool shade to sketch and take photos.
Alas I live in Ohio and I must make due with what i am given.

Rant of the Day

I hate the word Shawty!!!
First of all I'm not short!!!
My doctor says I'm quite tall for my age.
Who ever made that stupid fucking word needs to be stabed in the face!!!
I was in the parking lot a school and it's always full and it must have been a
miracle that we found a spot but
I was helping my friend Ruth with her window and this guy pulls up and says
"Hey shawty...SHAWTY are you getting ready to leave"
I wanted to go to his window and stab him with my pencil!!!
Talk like you have gone to school..please
and that was my rant of the day

Art Classes

So today I took my second art class and I failed...
Well okay I didn't fail but it felt like I did
Realistic drawing isn't one of my strong parts
but it's okay because I'm here to work on that.
One of the mistakes I did was compare my drawings
to one of the best drawers in the class...it's on of my bad traits I guess
and once again I felt intimidated and wanted to crawl back into a little ball
then all of my pictures looked like crap!!!

The More You Grow the More Life Gets Hard

College is a money sucker!
I have never been so tired and I only have 3 classes
I hate being at home...
These are the times when you grow a pair
and just deal with the way things are
I want to leave so bad...
i'm just afraid of leaving everyone of my friends behind

Seclusion

Last week I thought about my life and friends
Do I know the difference between friends and acquaintance?
It's been a week since I have been on facebook and myspace
Next week I'm going to try and not to talk or call people on my cell phone or text
I want to know the difference between real friends and people who smile in your face to get things
I realize I'm paranoid of the friends I have,
like are they talking about me behind my back?
do they like me?
Why do they like me...what is it about me that they like?
Am I getting on their nerves?
Things like that make me so scared of getting close to people
I don't have many friends because I push them away
What I'm about to do is a test to all of my friends....the ultimate test

It's Been a Long Time

Okay so it's been a long while since i have blogged
Well I'm officially in college and sadly have no money left from paying my fees.
I tell you college is a money sucker!
But along these past couple of months things have been quite....
How should I say it...crazy!!! No wait INSANE!!!
I traded in my car and got a new one!
I'm learning how to drive too.
I'm also moving things around my room
I got bored with it all

The beginning

Well in a few days i will be going in a journey to find myself and where do i stand in this world.
My holga camera wil be coming in the mail a couple of day from now and i will have a change to show you
